1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and/or phone number, and any preferences you set (preferred location, job category). If you upload a resume, we store the file and any details you provide about it (job role tag, filename). If you use the AI career assistant, we process the messages and any documents you share with it in order to generate a response.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to operate your account, track your job applications, personalize job recommendations, provide AI-generated career assistance (resume feedback, ATS analysis, mock interview practice), and — where you've given consent — send you account, application, and engagement-related alerts by email and/or WhatsApp.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on the following processors to operate KiVolve. Each handles a limited slice of your data as needed to provide their service:

• Supabase — hosts our database and authentication; stores your account details, applications, and uploaded resumes.
• Twilio — delivers WhatsApp and SMS alerts to the number you provide, only if you've opted in.
• Resend — delivers transactional and engagement emails.
• Google Gemini — powers the AI career assistant; messages and documents you share with the assistant are sent to Gemini's API to generate a response. We do not permit this data to be used to train Google's models.
• Google AdSense — displays ads on free-tier pages and may use cookies/device data per Google's own advertising privacy policy.

4. Resume & Document Storage

Resumes you upload are stored in a private storage location accessible only to your account. We do not share your resume with any employer or third party except where you explicitly click through to an external application page.

5. WhatsApp & Email Consent

We only send WhatsApp or SMS messages to numbers you've explicitly provided and consented to, via Twilio. You can withdraw this consent at any time from your account settings, or by replying STOP to any message. Withdrawing consent does not affect your ability to use KiVolve.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (like theme). Google AdSense may set its own advertising cookies on free-tier pages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of KiVolve after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
